At the age of 42 Jon Andersen’s wrestling career had come to an end. Though a long, and fruitful career, a new endeavor began for Jon, bodybuilding, and he was determined more then ever to become an IFBB (International Federation of bodybuilders) professional bodybuilder. Once again Jon’s relentless work ethic and discipline allowed him to go from bodybuilding unknown to earning a professional status with the IFBB in a six-month time frame. Jon is one of a small club of only 3 people to earned their professional cards with the IFBB in only two contests. Jon went on to place in the top five in his professional bodybuilding debut which is another rare achievement in the bodybuilding world.
